Before the book is in print, the article glows on the screen, or the essay is published, there is the idea. Often the road from that first spark to publication is long and, usually, it is solitary.  

Our writing group has been the antidote to this most isolating of professions. Meeting at least twice a month, we have learned from one another’s writing and have seen our work benefit from our fellow writers’ careful reading. By gathering to talk about craft, we’ve deepened our understanding of how to tell a story and strengthened our faith in the writing process.

Over the years, we’ve published scores of books, articles, and essays. In addition to writing, we edit, report, and teach. We interview fellow authors, moderate panels, and speak at conferences.
